Under the authority of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Health and Community Services, effective July 13, 2005, consisting of the following branches:

i)  Regional Health Operations, led by an Assistant Deputy Minister;

ii)  Public Health, Wellness, and Children and Youth Services, led by an Assistant Deputy Minister;

iii)  Corporate Services, led by an Assistant Deputy Minister;

iv)  Policy and Planning, led by an Assistant Deputy Minister; and

v)  Medical Services
