Under the authority of subsection 7(2) of the Citizens’ Representative Act and upon the recommendation of the Internal Economy Commission, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Robert J. Jenkins as the part-time Acting Citizens’ Representative, effective from a current date, to hold office until the suspension of the current Citizens’ Representative has been dealt with in the House of Assembly.  A copy of the contract between Mr. Jenkins and the Speaker of the House of Assembly respecting the terms and conditions of his appointment is to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
