Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign “Canada-Wide Standards for Mercury Emissions from Coal-Fired Electric Power Generation Plants,” substantially along the lines of the document contained in Annex A of the Minister’s Submission on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
