Under the authority of the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Newfoundland and Labrador Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to:

  i)  agree that self-sufficiency and security of supply will exist in respect of the period 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2010; and

 ii)  authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to notify the Minister of Natural Resources Canada and the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board of the above determination.
