Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and the Exploits Valley Economic Development Corporation, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 983 square feet of office space for the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development in the Federal Building, Grand Falls - Windsor, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to November 30, 2006 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $15.00 per square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
