Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign an amendment to the Contribution Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for the Benefit of the Inuit Communities of Labrador extending the Agreement to March 31, 2006, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, and to further extend the Agreement as required, in substantially the same form without further reference to Cabinet.
