Under the authority of section 20 of the Emergency Measures Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Premier on behalf of the province and on behalf of the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into the International Emergency Management Assistance Memorandum of Understanding with New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
