Under the authority of subsection 4(5) or 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, as determined by the Minister of Transportation and Works following consultation with the Department of Environment and Conservation and Buildco Ltd., the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 1,070 square feet of storage space occupied by the Department of Environment and Conservation, Lands Division, in the Balmoral Building, Clarenville, NL, on either a month to month basis or a fixed term to September 30, 2006 under the existing terms and conditions, either at the existing rental rate of $4.49 per square foot pursuant to subsection 4(5) of the Public Tender Act or at an increased rental rate no greater than 15% of the existing rental rate pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, with any rate increase being sourced within existing departmental budgetary allocations.
