Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Sandra Barnes as Assistant Secretary to Cabinet - Program Renewal, effective May 10, 2004, at her current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, and Ms. Barnes is guaranteed no less than an equivalent position in the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador after this assignment is completed.
