Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Dan Michielsen as Deputy Minister of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment, in an acting capacity, effective immediately, with salary at Step 11 on the 2328 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to the date of his appointment, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which he has been appointed herein.
