Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding totaling $8,950,000 against its 2005-2006 appropriations to facilitate the calling and awarding of tenders for Phase III of the Trans Labrador Highway Project.
