Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds against departmental budgetary appropriations approximating $120,000 applicable to fiscal year 2005-2006 to facilitate the awarding of Government=s long distance telephone contract to Aliant Telecom for services to be provided for the period April 1, 2005 to July 1, 2005.
