Under the authority of section 7(1) of the Wild Life Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation to make Regulations entitled “Guides Regulations, 1998 (Amendment)”, a copy of which are on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, which will allow for the registration and licensing of both resident and non-resident guides and impose training requirements for such registration with training requirements to be waived for current guides, and with the Minister of Environment and Conservation to determine the date of coming into force of the Regulations.
