Under the authority of section 482(2) of the Criminal Code, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to allow the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador on November 1, 2004, to introduce Rules entitled “Rules of the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in Criminal Proceedings”, a copy of which are on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, which will govern Criminal Code proceedings in the Provincial Court.
