Under the authority of section 21 of the Hydro Corporation Act, 2007, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to guarantee the borrowing by Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro of an amount not to exceed $600 million, by issuing long-term debentures in the Canadian capital markets, at a rate of interest and on terms and conditions that the Minister of Finance may approve.
