Under the authority of section 12 of the Forestry Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to acquire the cutting rights for all hardwood and immature softwood and the management rights for all hardwood from Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd. on their licensed lands in the general area of Springdale in Forest Management District 9, as outlined in the “Timber Transfer Agreement” to be executed between the Minister of Natural Resources and Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd., a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
