Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gary Norris as Deputy Minister (Acting) in the Department of Business, in addition to his responsibilities as Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, effective September 22, 2004 until the permanent incumbent is appointed, with no change in salary as a result of this additional assignment.
