Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ross Reid as Deputy Minister (Acting) in the Department of Health and Community Services, in addition to his responsibilities as Deputy Minister to the Premier, effective September 30, 2004 until the permanent incumbent is appointed, with no change in salary as a result of this additional assignment.
