Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council discontinues the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Nazir as Associate Deputy Minister of Forestry in the Department of Natural Resources pursuant to section 6.2 of the Executive Pay Plan Policies and Procedures, effective June 30, 2004, with Dr. Nazir to receive termination benefits in accordance with the Executive Pay Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with the following exception: severance benefits (if any) are not to be deducted from other termination benefits.
