Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to create and confirm thefollowing Departments:

i) the Department of Business;

ii) the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development;

iii) the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment;

iv) the Department of Environment and Conservation;

v) the Department of Natural Resources;

vi) the Department of Government Services;

vii) the Department of Transportation and Works;

viii) the Department of Education;

ix) the Department of Municipal and Provincial Affairs;

x) the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation;

xi) the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture;

xii) the Department of Health and Community Services;

xiii) the Department of Finance;

xiv) the Department of Justice; and,

xv) the Department of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs.
