Further to the direction provided in OC2003-070, under the authority of section 14 of the Housing Corporation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation to borrow up to $4,200,000, rather than the maximum amount of $4,000,000 previously approved by OC2003-070, related to the Province’s share of program costs related to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) - Newfoundland and Labrador Affordable Housing Agreement over the 2003-04 to 2006-07 fiscal years with any additional funding to be subject to the prior approval of Treasury Board, and with the current approval for the increased borrowing to be subject to the transfer of title of the Wiseman Centre qualifying for an increase in federal matching funds under the Affordable Housing Agreement.
