Under the authority of subsection 3(l) of the Expropriation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to expropriate 3.416 hectares of land located on Thorburn Road in Portugal Cove – St. Philip’s, for a new Grades 5-9 school, as outlined in the survey plans on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, and to name the Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board as the authority in the Notice of Expropriation under subsections 2(b)(iv) and 4(1).
