Under the authority of section 4(2) of the Lands Act,the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservationtoenter into a conditional commercial lease containing a grant option with the Humber Valley Resort Corporation for 685 hectares of Crown land to be sold tothe Corporation for $6.39 million in addition to a 6 percent premium of the sale price of each lot subject to inclusion in the final agreement of a provision preventing the Humber Valley Resort Corporation from adjusting the lot prices downward in order to pay out less than the negotiated 6 percent premium of the sale price of each lot, compliance with all government permitting and regulatory requirements and conditions, completion of a timber exchange agreement between the Crown and Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd. and completion of a development plan to be negotiated with the Corporation and approved by the Minister which will form part of the lease agreement.
