Under the authority of section 6 of the Arts Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased:

i)  to approve, effective from a current date, the selection of Maxine Stanley as Chairperson (until December 31, 2004) and Paul Bowdring as Vice-Chairperson (until October 31,2004) of the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council; and

ii)  to appoint/reappoint the following individuals to the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council effective from a current date:

Appointments: 

 a)  Michael Chiasson, three year term;

 b)  Margaret Best, three year term;

 c)  Brent Meade - Government representative, at pleasure;

Reappointments: 

 d)  John Doyle, three year term; and

 e)  Charlotte Jones, three year term.
