Under the authority of subsection 14.6(1) of the Student Financial Assistance Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Student Loan Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador, in consultation with the Deputy Minister of Finance, to negotiate capital market borrowing not to exceed $10 million Canadian in 2004-05 to provide for student loan disbursements for the remainder of this fiscal year, with any such borrowing to be guaranteed by the Province.
