Under the authority of section 11 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Minister of Natural Resources to sign the agreement negotiated on government’s behalf between the Department of Justice and Freeport Resources Inc., with the payment of $400,000 to be made to Freeport Resources Inc. as full and final settlement of all matters pertaining to its interest in the proposed Torngat Mountains National Park Reserve.
