Under the authority of section 4 of the Government Purchasing Agency Act and the prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Lawrence P. (Larry) Cahill as Chief Operating Officer of the Government Purchasing Agency effective December 16, 2004, with an increase in salary (to be determined in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016) effective February 20, 2004, at which time Mr. Cahill assumed new duties when instruction was given to restructure the Government Purchasing Agency as a separate, arms-length agency reporting directly to the Minister of Government Services.
