Under the authority of section 28(2) of the Financial Administration Act, and on the report of the Minister of Finance that there is insufficient legislative provision and that no other countervailing savings are available, and on the report of the Minister of Health and Community Services that the necessity is urgent, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to approve the preparation of a Special Warrant for the signature of the Lieutenant Governor, in the amount of $4 million within the vote of the Department of Health and Community Services to provide additional funding for the Home Support program for the fiscal year 2002/03, with the allocation of the funds to be finalized by Health and Community Services in consultation with Treasury Board.
