Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act and upon the written recommendation of the Treasury Board, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds totaling $8,000,000 against its budgetary appropriations in 2015/16 to facilitate the award of a contract to Johnson’s Construction Ltd. for the upgrading/widening of Phase II of the Trans Labrador Highway.
