Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint John Baker as Executive Director - Marine, in the Department of Works, Services and Transportation, effective April 1, 2003, at his existing salary on a personal basis, pending the results of a classification review to be carried out in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by Minute of Council MC91-0016, with an assurance of no reduction in his current salary.
