Under the authority of section 3 of the Prisons Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Daniel F. Chafe as the Superintendent of Her Majesty's Penitentiary, on an acting basis, effective May 1, 2020, with a 10 per cent increase applied to his current salary and with general salary increases to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification review within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to the date of his appointment, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein.
