Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Lloyd Strickland as the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, effective April 21, 2020, with salary at Step 33 on the 1660 Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification review within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to the date of his appointment, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein.(Revoked by OC2023-125)
