Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to confirm the appointment of Scott Jones as Assistant Deputy Minister, Regulatory Affairs, in the Department of Service Newfoundland and Labrador, at his current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification by November 18, 2020, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to November 18, 2019, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he was appointed on that date.
