Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to create the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, effective September 30, 2014, consisting of all those functions formerly within the Department of Education and some of those functions formerly within the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services; with three branches as follows:
a) Corporate Services;
b) Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education and Early Childhood Development; and
c) Infrastructure.
