Under the authority of section 4 the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to move that His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint the Honourable Tony Cornect, to the Executive Council of the Province as Minister of Service Newfoundland and Labrador, Minister Responsible for the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Minister Responsible for the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, Minister Responsible for the Government Purchasing Agency, Minister Responsible for the Labour Relations Agency, and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, with effect from September 30, 2014.
