Under the authority of subsection 37(4) of the Mineral Act and in accordance with section 4 of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to provide approval for the Minister of Natural Resources to appoint Liam O'Brien as temporary Chairperson of the Mineral Rights Adjudication Board to hear the grievance filed related to rights of the mineral barite contained within mineral licences 21890M and 21891M, for a period not exceeding six months, effective immediately.
