Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gary Norris as Clerk of the Executive Council and Secretary to Cabinet, effective August 25, 2020, with salary at Step 25 on the 2676 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a salary differential to apply of 1% above the salary of the highest paid Deputy Minister until such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise, Mr. Norris’ salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid Deputy Minister.
