Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, effective September 9, 2020, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development but excluding the wellness, sport, and recreation functions, with three branches as follows:

a) Child and Youth Services,

b) Corporate Services and Performance Improvement, and,

c) Policy and Programs.
