Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to create the Department of Digital Government and Service Newfoundland and Labrador, effective September 9, 2020, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Service Newfoundland and Labrador, and including those collections functions formly within the Department of Finance, with two branches as follows:

a) Digital Government and Services, and

b) Regulatory Affairs.
