Orders in Council Database

Approval was given for the issuance of an Order in Council, under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, effective September 9, 2020, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Fisheries and Land Resources but excluding the protected areas function, with four branches as follows:

a) Agriculture and Lands,

b) Enforcement and Resource Services,

c) Fisheries and Aquaculture, and,

d) Forestry and Wildlife.
