Orders in Council Database

Approval was given for the issuance of an Order in Council, under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Health and Community Services, effective September 9, 2020, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Health and Community Services, but excluding the health infrastructure function, and including the wellness function formerly within the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, with four branches as follows:

a) Corporate Services,

b) Regional Services,

c) Policy, Planning and Performance Monitoring, and,

d) Population Health and Wellness.
