Orders in Council Database

Approval was given for the issuance of an Order in Council, under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to create the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, effective September 9, 2020, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Transportation and Works and all of those municipal infrastructure functions formerly within the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment and health infrastructure functions formerly within the Department of Health and Community Services, with four branches as follows:

a) Air and Marine Services,

b) Infrastructure,

c) Operations, and,

d) Strategic and Corporate Services.
