Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Paul Smith as Deputy Minister in the Department of Finance, on an acting basis, effective October 29, 2020, with salary at step 7 on the 2556 point scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and in accordance with terms and conditions on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
