Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Gail Boland as Assistant Deputy Minister (Digital Government and Services) in the Department of Digital Government and Service Newfoundland and Labrador, and retaining her responsibility for Shared Services, including collections functions, on an acting basis, effective November 26, 2020, with salary at Step 14 on the 1418 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Treasury Board Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to November 26, 2020, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein.
