Under the authority of section 3 of the Lotteries Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to renew the arrangement respecting video lottery terminal commissions for licensees on the following basis:

i)  commencing April 1, 2003, the commission rates be renewed for four years at the rate of 25% for video lottery revenue up to $100,000 and 20% for video revenue above $100,000; and,

ii)  licensees contribute 1% of their video lottery revenue to help combat problem gambling and the Province also contribute funding comparable to the licensees’ share.
