Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Denise Woodrow as Assistant Deputy Minister (Corrections and Community Services) in the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective December 2, 2020, with salary at Step 33 on the 1660 Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and with a position description to be forwarded to the Treasury Board Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to December 2, 2020, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein.
