Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Walt Mavin as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Employment, Skills and Regional Services in the Department of Immigration, Skills and Labour, effective September 9, 2020, with salary at Step 25 on the 1500 Point Scale, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Treasury Board Secretariat for classification within one year of September 9, 2020, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to September 9, 2020, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he was appointed on that date.
