Financial Administration Act
Under the authority of subsection 28(3.1) of the Financial Administration Act and further to the dissolution of the House of Assembly on January 15, 2021, and subsequent issuance of Writs of Election and upon the recommendation in writing of Treasury Board, and in recognition of the need to continue the operations of the Provincial Government until such time as the House of Assembly is reconstituted and has an opportunity to consider a bill respecting supply to Her Majesty, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to prepare a Special Warrant for the signature of Her Honour the Lieutenant-Governor, in the amount of $2,086,721,900, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the public service, required from time to time to defray such expenses, for the period of April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021 subject to the House of Assembly continuing to be dissolved at the end of fiscal year 2020-21, allocated as follows:
