 Under the authority of the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to provide for the issuance of a Proclamation, for the signature of Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor, to request the persons elected to be Members of the Fiftieth General Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador to gather in the House of Assembly Chamber on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of taking their Oaths or Affirmations of Allegiance and their Oaths or Affirmations of Office in accordance with section 128 of the Constitution Act, 1867 and section 5 of the House of Assembly Accountability, Integrity and Administration Act.
