Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to move that Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint John Gerald Abbott as Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development; Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities; Minister Responsible for the Community Sector; and, Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, with effect from April 8, 2021.
